Chapter Three – START WITH WORSHIP
After many decades of suffering and waiting, God opened a door that no one can shut. It was the chance of a lifetime.
There was a passionate desire to return to the Promised Land and learn from past failures.
After previous generations drifted from God and defied His Word, this was a new beginning. Going to Jerusalem included a deeper call to love God with all of their hearts. They rebuilt the temple together because restoration begins with worship. There were offerings to atone for sin. The people were united in honoring God. They acquired cedar logs from Lebanon, signaling a commitment to high-quality materials and devotion. The Levites were the supervisors of many projects, and dedication services were underway.
God is good, and His love endures forever.
God had reminded the faithful, even when the people were unfaithful. We worship God because He is faithful.
