Thursdays | 6:30 pm | 9 weeks | Begins October 7 | Room 103
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions, and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! The first class is free and partial scholarships are available. Registration fee is $129. Registration can be completed during the first class.
Sundays | 9:00 am | 12 weeks | Begins September 12 | Room 103
In these twelve classes, we'll take a deep dive into understanding the person of Jesus and his work. Is he both God and man? And how does that make sense? Did He even think of himself as God? What did the Old Testament writers say about him, and what were they expecting of him when he came? How do the various gospel writers present him? And how is it that Jesus' death provides salvation for us? Finally, are the teachings of Jesus consistent with the message of Paul's letters?
Wednesdays | 9:30 am | Begins September 15 | Chapel
Women's Ministries is offering the video-led Bible Study on I Peter, A Living Hope in Christ, by Jen Wilkin. Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In I Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ, he challenges us to look beyond our current (sometimes difficult) circumstances to our future inheritance, knowing that our living hope is in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. To get the most out of your homework, please have available colored pencils and a dictionary. The cost for the workbook is $10. We will meet on Wednesday morning, 9:30-11:30 AM, September 12-December 8, 2021. Material Fee: $10
Wednesdays | 9:30 am | Begins September 15 | Room 103
In this class you will study the life of Daniel and learn how to adopt to a biblical worldview and how to focus on what God says and not what the world says.
The cost for the workbooks is $10.
1 John & 2 & 3 John | Precepts
Sundays | 5:30 pm | Begins September 19 | Zoom
What do Christians believe? Which church is right? Does holding to the truth mean you separate and flame others online? But does loving people mean you have to accept whatever they say or do? TV, radio and social media all loudly tell you what to think and how to act. Can you believe them? Can you balance truth and love? If so, how? John, one of Jesus' closest followers, wrote 3 short letters to believers who were faced with the same struggles. We'll be studying 7 lessons Sunday nights on ZOOM.
