The Elders have identified and refreshed four “Invest in Tomorrow” projects. These are projects beyond the scope of our annual budget which the Elders believe are worthy of additional investment. Each project will help Grace Community Church to accomplish the vision God has given us. The impact of your investment will extend beyond our church family. It will reach those who live in our region, to the next generation of kids who are growing up in a culture that is antagonistic toward God, and to people around the globe through our media ministry. Examples in recent years included: building a West Entry Canopy, purchasing a new sound system in the Worship Center, and upgrades to our lobby and lobby restrooms.
Below you will find a description of each project and the costs associated with them.
Project #1: Media
Total Cost: $70K
The Media Ministry continues to grow and has become a vital and effective ministry at Grace in sharing the Gospel. With the right equipment it will allow us to create relevant and higher-quality content that will reach the 1.86 million people in King & Pierce County and around the world. The upgrades will positivitely impact the quality of “Live Streaming” and provide a higher quality of video content when recording offsite.
Project #2: LED Wall
Total Cost: $120K
Our current video projectors in the Worship Center are beyond life expectancy and need to be replaced soon. Technology has improved dramatically, and it would make the most sense to invest in a LED wall to replace them. This also eliminates the need for video screens that are also showing their age. A LED wall will provide much higher video quality, be easier and less expensive to maintain, and will dramatically improve the overall worship experience in the Worship Center.
Project #3: Grace Kids Remodel
Total Cost: $77K
Raised to date: $48,400
Total Remaining: $28,600
Because of the consistent and significant growth in Grace Kids through the increase of young families attending Grace, we now exclusively occupy the lower level of the church building. The remodel creates not only an overall upgrade, but a positive first impression that is welcoming and inviting to families, and will provide higher level of safety for every child.
Project #4: Ministry Transportation
Total Cost: $34K
A 15 passenger van will give us the opportunity to bring people of all ages to Grace who are not able to get here on their own. This not only gives opportunity for them to hear the Gospel at a weekend service, but also other ministry activities.
You can also find a printed copy of these projects, located right outside of the Worship Center, on the wall.
As the Lord leads you, thank you for considering how you can continue to build up the ministry we share as a church family and see more lives transformed in 2020, and beyond, by the grace of Jesus. If you feel led to give to any of these projects, you can do so HERE.
